Fenna
E. Bacchus, M.A., C.H.Ed., L.H.R.M.,
C.H.R.M., R.N. has served as the President and CEO of FIRE
Inc. since it's inception in 2002. Born and raised
in Suriname, she began her life long commitment
to help others lead productive, healthy lives with a diploma
in nursing in 1980 and which she used for her work
in rural, remote Suriname villages. Following her
work as a nurse she became a high school teacher in St.
Vincent W.I.

Dr.
Omolola Irinoye is a Senior Lecturer and the present Head of Department
of Nursing Science, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife,
NIGERIA. Born 48 years ago, Dr. Omolola Irinoye received
her basic and first degree education in nursing at the
University College Hospital School of Nursing and the University
of Ibadan. She has two Masters Degrees in Nursing from
the Obafemi Awolowo University and in Women, Development
and Administration, University of York with the latter
as a British Chevening Scholar. She has twenty-five published
articles in national and international journals and has
contributed chapters to three books.

Mavatikua,
Dr. Lbd of Africa - as he likes to be called - joined the
FIRE Inc. Team in June 2004. Here is an Angolan, raised
in Zaire and lives with a Western Africa Style. He is a
physicist and a geoscientist. From his tender age, his
parents nurtured in him that ‘Education and food
is a pillar of peace’, which forged his commitment
to education.

Dr.
Jide Fatokun is an Agricultural Engineer, specialised in Water Resources
Development for agricultural purposes, i.e. pre-design
studies, design and supervision of the construction of
earth dams, irrigation, drainage and rural water supply
projects. He is an international consultant in this field,
having worked for International Fund for Agricultural Development
(IFAD) on projects located in many East and West African
countries, spanning a total period of 12 years. He designed
and supervised the construction of a World Bank-funded
project in Uganda, involving eighteen medium earth dams
over a period of four years. He is currently a private
consultant, based in Ibadan, Nigeria.

Oye Bandele. A university first class scholar in mathematics
education and a well experienced Tests, Measurement and Educational
Evaluation expert, with interest in statistical moderation
of test scores for quality assurance and standards of measurement.
Has served three years over a highly successful Institute
of Education as Acting Director, and has considerable experience
in coordinating and organizing academic Seminars, Conferences
on Test Development, Evaluation, Research quality assurance
in Education.

Emmanuel.
O Ojo serves
as a Virtual Interdisciplinary Researcher with FIRE
Inc. and has worked closely with the CEO on different research
projects since 2003.
Born and raised in Nigeria, Emmanuel received his undergraduate degree in Educational
Management and Economics at the University of Ibadan. Before moving to South
Africa in 2003, he worked as a Research Assistant and taught Management of Business
to students preparing for the Cambridge International Examinations, University
of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate: GCE Advanced Level.
